Soulmates - Soulmate Ties
The Soulmate Ties are a strange thing, the two connected have a thin pink string that connects both of them at the chest - Known as a "heart strings". The connected pair will be compelled to each other, but the tie can be severed. A swift blow to the thread can cut the tie, but will leave the two who were once connected filled with great hatred for each other.
In an Event where soulmate ties are achievable, if the pair mates they have a 90% chance of producing offspring - But they must be conceived before the event ends.
If there's an offspring of a soulmate pairing, that offspring will have a soulmate tie of their own that can last a lifetime once they reach the teen age.
Soulmate Ties can only be obtained in event or through offspring of a Soulmate pairing from said event.
Once the Soulmate Event is over, the tie vanishes.
A character cannot have more than one soulmate tie at a time.
Reproduction
Offspring of a soulmate tied parent possess a guarantee of having a tie when they reach teen age.
