  A strange and new generation of a Bloodline, some say they ventured inland from the caves after the silence that followed the plague. Originally mistaken as Vampires given they only come out at night, this species are usually harmless.

 

They possess smaller wings than that of the Dracarae, frail enough to tear easily and less likely to be able to carry anything other than themselves in flight. They do not have tails, and have the ears and colorings of a bat species they take after. They can use echo location to find their way in the night, and are entirely nocturnal - Their eyesight being the reason why. Their eyes do not adjust well to sunlight, and only work well in the shadows of the night or dark areas.
